Hello, Summer is not my modeling season, but I have just come across a fellow named Chris Howard who apparently owns/runs Rebel Locomotive which is listed under Shapeways. There are a lot of CN/CP prototype detail parts available. I am not familiar with 3D printing HO parts nor the pricing for such items.
Anyone bought/ tried these HO parts? Regards, Ian

Same guy that started the now-defunct Railflyer Model Prototypes. Back in 2017, I ordered some Rebel parts like ditch lights, buffer plates and plows but haven't gotten around to using them yet.
Standard 3d-printed fare for the most part but the proportions seemed good...

Thanks for the reply. Makes sense that there are so many Canadian prototypes represented. The prices were interesting. A long hood for say a CN/CP type was $111.00. A bit steep considering all the rest of the loco parts you would have to purchase. Conversely, the dynamic brake housing was okay as it consisted of the fans, the horn, vent and the housing as vs buying all the Cannon parts, a horn and having a housing on hand. Ian
