Well I'm done with 2 of my dash 9's...what's the BEST black paint for NS engines?

It all comes down to what brand of paint you like best.

I personally prefer the Pollyscale steam power black for my NS engines.

Myself, I prefer to use Model Master #2040 FS37031 Aircraft Interior Black. It is not exactly a pure black , but pretty darn close to it (it's a super, super-duper dark grey), and in my opinion looks better than 100% pure black.
It also photographs alot better then any pure black I have tried. If adding black details, such as grill washes or weathering, the difference is just ever so slightly noticeable.
Look for it in the military paint section of your favorite hobby shop (if you are lucky enough to have one of those........I am not).
