I have an Blue bonnet F7 B that has the Santa Fe lettering that is off-center and toward the back (Athearn Genesis) next to rear door. My question is, is this correct for this unit?
Thanks JC.

All of the pics I found of the blue ones had the lettering in the middle. The silver one's had it towards the door like you described

OK, mine is like the red-silver except where it is red, its blue and without the Indian. Thankfully I have decals coming so I can change it if need be. ;D

If it's a Genesis, it most likely is. Genesis are top of the line quality and a lot of research goes into the paint schemes. It's not like the old Athearn days. If I'm not mistaken, the "Bluebonnets" were Santa Fe passenger units that were re geared for freight service after Amtrak took over passenger operations. There were a couple of "Yellowbonnet" passenger units which had their red Warbonnets painted yellow and were leased to Amtrak for their use, but the majority of the old passenger units went into the freight pool and many got the blue repaint of their bonnets. A real shame, too. The loss of the red Warbonnet paint scheme is a real low point in US railroading history.
