I have a couple lifelike gp-60 locos and cannot get handrail sets for them. so I thought that I would make gp-60ms out of them because I got some athearn handrail sets for them and some detail associates gp-60m cabs. the problem is the cabs are too short. can anyone suggest on what I should do? or would the rail power cab be better?

Do a search on eBay or any of the internet selling sites.for those handrails

Or bend your own handrails to match the cab. It's not that hard.

Still need the stanchions. Check out the Smokey Valley handrail kits. Would recommend piano wire vs brass so they wont bend when handled. The Athearn metal ones work good for that but the stanchions have no detail.
