This will be my next build . Ill use the new bachman 44 ton with DCC , detail it with new grabs , hand rails , horn , etc . Ill use my air brush and microscale decals

That's been around for a long time. It was running out on the main when I was there in the early '70s.

This unit still has its original cat(x2)engines in it,they have recently bought a NYC SW8 to supplement the 44 ton,those visors(if I recall) are not original to the loco,I model the strasburg railroad in ho(the steam in me)I will be out there next week,they have 2 plymouths(yet to model)but looking for ideas

The railroad has allways intrested me. My familly and I have gone in the summer for the past 6 years. I wanted to get the sunset models 475 but Im to broke to buy any more brass. the 89 could be a easy kitbash using a IHC 4-6-0 or the 2-6-0 ( cant remmber what the 89 is ) .

Just don`t go to work for them..........I did and it was a very bad 8 month experience.

Where are you going to get the details handrails horns and such? I just ordered a few GE switchers and I know I'll need to do some detailing to them. Dave
