Other than the atlas aem-7 does anyone make clear strobes like those found on Seaboard System units.
I ask as i would like to add these to my units and then strobe them with 0402 smd's.
Thanks for any help.

I can't think of anyone off the top of my head...could you use clear plastic tubing? EDIT: Kato has F40PH strobes, but I can't tell how "lightable" they are in their crappy photo. Part #965201, $1.50 each (shows in-stock)

Roughly how large are the strobes. In a couple of cases I have used a 2mm tower LED to create a strobe using the pipe to be the strobe. 2mm is a smidge over 6" in diameter in HO. I have very lightly frosted the lenses which are clear as otherwise the light is being emitted predominantly out of the end of the pipe. Here's an LED like I'm describing:

?? The strobes i looked at on atlas the pics showed a round top not a flat top so looking at another angle to build these.

Gotham Rail and Marine is a guy doing all sorts of 3d printed detail parts. He has done a bunch of strobes and beacons, and according to his site they can be lighted. May be worth a look. Gothamrailmarine.com is the site home gothamrailmarine.com/product/federal-signal-851-strobe-lights/ is one of the specific pages offering strobes. There's a lot of other stuff available too. Jim
