i have decided to go with code 88 wheels and am using the exactrail for freight cars. now for locomotives, i am not 100% into the nwsl code 88. i am thinking about some kind of lathe to turn down the wheel faces on code 110 wheels that come with the models as i have hundreds of them. what is a suitable economically priced lathe or tool for this purpose, i know it would be possible to do this or even narrower than code 88. and no proto 87 will not work as there is not a suspension system for locomotives. can someone help?

Did you check out the Sherline or Microlux lathes mentioned in your other thread?
