I have a couple of projects to start trying my hand at detailing and painting. First one is a "practice" project, a TYCO GP20. If that turns out OK I'll move on to an Atlas S-2 painted for the LIRR. This may sound dumb but where are all the pictures? There was a thread from 2011 about an Athearn U33B in SCL livery. No pics on that thread either. I have the same engine, I like it a lot and was looking for some detail tips.

A lot of pictures went away due to Photobucket's shakedown scheme. Some members are updating threads and replacing the lost photos as time allows.

Welcome to the detailer. Lots of knows he here to help you with your builds.
Unfortunately a lot of photos disappeared because of pbotobucket and I think so e members are not very active anymore so they may mever be restored.

Welome aboard.
As stated I was one of many that lost all my pics when Photosucket tried to bleed us for money or lose your photo privileges.
Hope to see some progress.

Thank you for the replies. I will start to photograph my progress then post it as time allows. I'm also in the beginning stages of building a small switching layout, so my progress will be slow on the engine detailing. Good to be part of the group.
