CB&Q 'General Pershing Zephyr'

It took a bit more than its sole diesel motive power (#9908 'Silver Charger') to finish the original General Prshing Zephyr - three modified streamliners

#9908 at an earlier time w/o front windows



And finished with the complete train





Scale is 1/29 - coaches are modified USA-Trains streamliners, #9908 is a mix of an USA-Trains car and a lot of putty, styrene & glass-reinforced plastic etc.. Rear truck is powered (contrary to the protoype) to avoid difficulties in pulling force.
