I asked this over on the Atlasrescueforum, but did not get a definitive reply.
I am contemplating ways of making an early (CNW) FM H16-66 with the Loewy styling and GSC/Commonweath trucks. The first step would be to find appropriate 6 wheel trucks.
Does anyone know if the Atlas H24-66 trucks mount to the frame the same way as the Atlas H15/16-44 trucks do?
I don't have the tools to undertake significant frame modifications. I know the truck sideframes are different. I can deal with that issue separately.
