Hello gents!
The CN Diesel decals are available once again! Same as before, but a 'set' includes the accessory decals too.
Price is a bit cheaper than before too, $17 CAD each.
HOT OFF THE PRESS!
NEW!!! CN boxcar and van decals, circa 1961 to 1990 - HO Scale
This covers the modern era 'wet noodle' and freight schemes. There are many other manufacturers of CN decals of this era, but they all fall short with either one or all of the following flaws:
- Numerals not proper CN font (Other decal manufacturers are arbitrary Helvetica, Notice the distinctive "2"
- Stencilized numbers included
- dimensional data over and above the standard 40' and 50' decals sets currently available.
- weights and dimensional data for:
- 40' boxcar (one car's worth on sheet)
- 50'-6" boxcar (2x car's worth...)
- 52'-8" boxcar (2x car's worth...)
- 60' boxcar (1x)
- 86' boxcar (1x)
- assorted build dates, and cubic footages included
- station codes for EVERY CNR location, whether they touched a freight car or not!
- French language stencils where applicable
- excess height stencils for auto and paper boxcars
- Woodchip car stencils
- Destroy stencils for your cars going to scrap
- Auxilliary and Engineering dept stencils
- Pointe St Charles and Hawker Sideley van decals
- lead acid and nickle cadmium battery stencils
- assorted stove oil stencils
- International stencils in several styles.
- Microscale's CN caboose set has noodles with incorrect radius, and their numbers are too big.
It's basically a boxcar novel spread out on one page of decals. I decided to release this set because the 40 foot and 50 foot sets have been done to death, and the longer cars have been under represented. MSRP is $12 each, and shipping is $5 in a mailer. They can be a bit hard to see with white decals on light blue paper so I include a black and white copy sheet to help you navigate all the detail!
I will try to collect orders from IM, but for best results, I urge you to email me at eleets(AT)skynet.ca. Paypal is preferred, as I will send you a invoice, but Interac will work as well. I will be at the Toronto RPM at Humber in a couple weeks if you are in the Toronto area that weekend and want to beat out on the $5 shipping. Thanks!
A friendly reminder that I do not do custom decals, so please do not ask. Thanks!
