I was wondering if anyone on here does DCC/sound here,I had some questions but cant get the answers I'm looking for,does anyone make a wireless tether,I no this is a diesel forum but this is for steam.This is now my favorite forum and great people on it,great models,great ideas,I have taken out models that I started 10 years ago and started to finish them because of this forum,I hope someone can lead me in the right direction for this or even a dcc forum maybe

Not sure I understand your question. Wireless tether for your DCC system or a sound activation unit for sounds on a DC system?

Yes, please go into more detail.
most DCC companies make a wireless system for their lines, this allows you to use a wireless throttle to run your trains.
There is also a few companies that make stand alone sounds and remote operations for them.
But most people went DCC and avoid it.
On the other hand, if you mean lanyards, then that is a different issue.

sorry guys my meds kicked in last night,Im looking to go from engine to tender(wireless) for steam engine project for decoder,mikes train house has them on the steam engines but they wont give up the info on how,I just dont want the cross cables there if it can be done

Brian, I'm not a steam guy, but what I believe you are asking is this.

I don't think it is. You atleast want some form of engine pickup and then the motor is in there, and you generally want a headlamp also. What that means is atleast 6 wires. Now, this can be accomplished by various methods, of which some are nice and simple and neat...
