hello, I have two N scale Kato F40ph that I need to have soda blasted. I have already stripped the Kato paint and repainted these so the paint I need to strip is Rapido PROTO Paint that I bought through George's trains. Unfortunately 91% Iso Alcohol will not strip the PROTO paint. I have a Paasche Soda blaster but it keeps clogging on me and I can't figure out how to use it effectively. I'm hoping someone can help me out here? any ideas? thanks

Make sure your soda that you're using for blasting is super dry and sifted so I would suggest putting it on a cookie sheet in the oven and baking it at 3:50 for like I don't know half an hour or so just to make sure you push all the moisture out of it and then when you get done let it cool and then put it into a Ziploc bag or an airtight container so that moisture does not get into it him and if you have a flower sifter use that to make sure that it's a no clumps I'll before you load it into your Blaster. hello, I have two N scale Kato F40ph that I need to have soda blasted. I'll give that a try. I got it to work a little better today. The cup on the air eraser doesn't hold a lot of material and loading it is a bit of a pain. I'm going to try using a compressor with a higher psi, mine was max 59psi so I think I can use a bit more power behind the eraser

Keep us up on how this works out for you, I was considering the same tool to strip the paint of my 1:29 SD40-2s
Thanks, Chris
