Guys, here's one more F-unit that I finished this week and shipped out today. I realize that some of you are tired of seeing F-units show up under my name, but these models to me have great appeal and the fact that they're all built from a Highliner kit, which in my opinion makes one of the nicest models to be found anywhere when detailed, painted, decaled and weathered. These kits require a good bit of time and effort, but the end result is well worth the time and effort you have to put in them. This particular model is Genesis powered because it's what the customer had on hand, but for me, I say it's difficult to outdo the Kato/Stewart powered chassis plus the Stewart chassis is easier to detail and to install close fitting couplers. Thanks for looking!! Bob

Bob,
If you keep it up I might just let you do my F units as well! Would you consider an ABA in NS?

Bob, If you keep it up I might just let you do my F units as well! Would you consider an ABA in NS? Jimmy, those three units would require some serious time and effort to do correctly. I've often thought about modeling the two "A" units, but other models always seemed to get in the way. Bob

Bob,
You are correct! I am still looking and that is where those F's you sent me are headed. A couple of them will find themselves in Southern and maybe one in N&W.
