On the home stretch now. Handrail posts are on order. All the decals are from Seans set with the exception of the CN diesel class info, which was taken from the Microscale CN switcher set.

just a quick comment, as Sean said, 7100 (7300),7102,7103,7107, were from GR-12f produced in 1956, 7104,7105,7106 were from GR-12h produced in 1956-57, and 7101 (7301) was the single unit from GR-12l produced in 1958. 7101 is the only unit with the flush top cab number/headlight board, the other spotting difference is 7100 has 3 high louvres on the engine doors, and 2 lower, while all the other units have 2 high louvres, and 3 lower. All the units have a single louvre on front rad section door.

No, no worries. I thought they were right until about a week ago actually. I figured they didn't change from the GP9 long hood but they all were shifted down a few doors.

not only were they shifted ,the order the doors were placed in changed from the GP units, under the dynamic brake blister, they are set in 3 pairs, with the latch towards the front, and then another pair just in front of the cab. That's my struggle right now, to get a side panel that I am happy with in the right order. my desk is littered with various attempts and castings, from several different shells, and I just realized myself last night that the first unit has different louvre arrangement, so I need to make 2 different sides to capture them.. Plan is to have all 8 units. They are to new for my era, but the small SW series from emd/GMDD, and the S series from ALco/MLW. are my favorites.
