Hi all, It's been a while since I was really active in the hobby and lately I got back into it with my first project, just about completed, Vermont Northern C425. I know they didn't own any ex. CR C425's, but... MK leasing operated the VNOR for a few years starting in 1978 (ex. St. Johnsbury and Lamoille County RR between St. Albans and St. Johnsbury Vt.) operated with 3 ex. LIRR C420's. Around that time CR was in the process of scrapping many of it's acquired Alco diesel's. So I figured it would be kind of neat to have "saved" a few century's and letter 'em up for the VNOR, an interchanging line with the CV. So far ex. CR 2416 is about 95% near the finish; needs LEDs and lenses installed. The handrails are weathered and ready to snap on. An Atlas PRR 2416 with some PRR details added and modified class lights (only 1 on each side, not 3). Repainted black as an ex. PC unit which was never painted into Conrail blue. I might try to have some PC or CR lettering chipping through on the long hood or nose.

Nice! I really like the storyline also.

Thank you Richard. It's fun to kind of freelance stuff, that way we can add more units we like to our collections.
