I have started this thread to revive the old one... I will keep this one more current. First off is a C425 high nose to convert the LL C424. shpws.me/IWfO-David

If you are an experienced sound decoder installer, you will know that an installation is only as good as the speaker. That's why we carefully selected a mini cellphone speaker and designed our speaker box to tight tolerances. This week we reintroduced the Knowles Wildcat and Knowles Donau speakers with 3D printed speaker boxes made of durable bio-plastics. store.cescalemodels.com/#!/Knowles-Wildcat-Speaker-Box/p/53029610/category=13954087 store.cescalemodels.com/#!/Knowles-Donau-Speaker-Box/p/53029622/category=13954087 -David

David, those speakers sound AMAZING, especially for their size!! (Or I guess they're transducers - cell phone speakers)
Either way, I need to try to find some money... I need a few of those for my HO Scale switchers!

You forgot to mention what scale these are. I'd like to have all the parts to do another N&W high hood C425.

Would it not be significantly cheaper for the modeller to supply a cab, and just purchase the rapid prototyped high short hood?

Maybe not since the existing cab has to be replaced and finding a replacement (maybe the Atlas C420HH cab) might or might not work right.

Jerry,
You are correct in the C420 HH cab. This is the cab I used on my N&W C425, pictures int he Show us your Centuries thread. I also used the high hood from the C420 as the Bowser hood does not match the Atlas model well.
