So do you have to lift up on the lift pin to unhook the coupler?

Nice model. This would look great with an I-12 wagontop caboose painted Chessie coupled to it! I painted several Chessie locos while I was in S scale, many years ago. Careful masking made for good looking models. One thing I noticed on the prototype is the two yellow stanchions next to the drop step, I've never noticed that before on the real ones. I do know individual shop painting crews sometimes took liberties and added their own touches to what they painted. Large Mike
