My Atlas GP38 im working on has grey wipers, but the color doesnt look quite right. I know they normally wernt painted. Looking at several photos I cant quite determine the color. They do seem to be a bare metal color. Any ideas? P

Most are bare metal, most probably stainless steel, which tends to dull to a gray over time, with the wiper edge being black.

I usually like to use either dirty black or gunmetal. Tamiy gunmetal does not dry super shiny and works very well for this as well as MU cable ends.

Although in the later years the CIOR painted theirs black.

Try Tamiya chrome silver. I bought it originally to paint the grilles on some old undec Athearn Freightliners. It also looks pretty good for the windshield wipers. I usually brush paint the wipers. Once dry, I color the rubber blade with a Sharpie.
