I took apart my Proto 2000 SW's (blue box) to install decoders and discovered that all of the factory windows have curled: all the corners are pulled in away from the window openings. There was no heat in the cabs (1.5v bulbs pushed out into cast numberboard housings= heat sinks) and they now have LED's in the head lights. AMB doesn't make laser cut replacement windows for these. Anyone else experience this and any possible solutions?

I did an n scale engine with something similar
Took and added 0.005 thick clear sheet behind the opening made sure it didn't leak at the edges
Then filled the window opening while it was facing up with clear elmers glue a little at a time to get the flush look
But that is just my mind always in the thinking side of life kinda like
Ooooooh I can use that anyways my half centavo's worth of thought
