We have been working hard to get our next N Scale model, the NRE 3GS21B available, but we took a break to bring out a new detail part; a weed cutter style plow in N Scale. But we decided to go a little further... we brought out three different configurations of the plow. Check out the details below!!! We currently have three versions of this plow available: Eljin, Joliet & Eastern version features small cutouts on the corners for non-electrified territory. This style is the most common and is used by many railroads. New York & Atlantic version features large angled cutouts on the corners for third-rail and tunnel clearence. Penn Central / Conrail version features large square cutouts in the corners for third rail clearence. We also plan to offer these different versions in HO Scale. In the future we will be expanding this line of plows to include other styles and types. Best, David Cutting CEO, Cutting Edge Scale Models cescalemodels.com

David~
I always thought that the Gonerail plows were clipped to clear the rotary dumpers at some of the power plants they used to serve. I never thought about third rail territory, but I guess that makes sense too.
