It's been so long I forgot which older alco switcher I was after HH something it's been a long time. I used an atlas S2 frame and everything except the hood . I built the hood from styrene , made my own doors since no one made them and used the radiators off a roundhouse RS3 door hinges from a model power C628 I think the roof was part of the RS3 , all I can recall is I was using a railroad Mag that had photo's and a scale drawing of real units . I made the rad fan from an atlas RS3 but much smaller so I only used the grill and then made my own round frame around the fan grill . I added some brass sanders from a precision scale steam part . I think they were sanders with valves , they looked right for what I needed . Made my own roof hatches and used hinges form the MP C628 . I brass tube for the head lamp . I fit the hood to the stock atlas S2 cab and added a tab inside the hood so it locked the the frame as the stock hood did. The front was also part of the roundhouse RS3 and I think the stack except the base. That's the best I can describe it. I did realize the wheel base is not correct I just wanted to come close. All I have are photo's of the side and front . I sold it in 2009 so that's all I have. below are photo's.

I missed this the first time, so glad someone gave it a bump.
That's some pretty outstanding work...don't know if I'd call it a kitbash or scratchbuild but I dig your work quality.
Too bad that's all your pics...hope it found a good home!
