Curious if there was a paint out there that matched the yellow on the Athearn models? I've heard it's not quite easy.

A friend of mine said scalecoat when I showed him my RTR SD40-2. I'm watching this one as well cause someone stole the elevated horn off of mine.

Try floquil railbox yellow.

It's a shade darker by I use Model Master Insignia Yellow -- you can add Model Master Flat White to the yellow to find your match.
