I've put the EMD's on hold for now and stared to redo 4 C430s. Very nice models with great sound, very easy to dissemble until you get to the cab glass. What a freak show of glue usage there was. This is going to be for a freelanced railway but all details are taken from actual units in service. Just a few of the units in parts on the desk after getting a base coat of primer. The cabs taken apart (but for one window that will not come out) If you notice, I removed the walkways from the cab base. Two reason for this, to make painting easier and to remove the casting marks on the front of the steps. Was messing around trying out ideas for the weathering on the frame.

Some detail added. There is primer on all the brake cylinders as a guild coat. Bowser left alot of casting flash on them. All of this is getting corrected.

I had a emergency that hauled work on these units. Due to a loved one still having serious health issues updates maybe slow in coming. Lots of side frames. Done up with speed recorders and wheel slip. Showing how the two different side frames have different cable routing Tomorrow will start weathering.
