When I made the ones for my GP9 lite ( small fuel tank), I cast the first from an athearn tank to get a resin tank, then did the final shaping and sizing on the resin tank, and recast it to get the one I wanted. Found it much easier to sand and cut the resin master than the cast one. Yours look great

Looks pretty good to me as well. Just curious, what size fuel tanks are yours supposed to be?

Since I have a mini mill I can make the tanks longer then machine to proto-type size, in the case of the GP9 ,GP18 STANDARD TANK,they are 37mm long or approx 10'6" long, and yes I will be casting more of these and some longer ones too. Uploaded new pics of the proper sized tank as I will be using.
