Suggestions for assembling Railflyer Sinclair Antennas

I recently purchased Railflyer Sinclair antennas (both large and small) to try another antenna solution as the DA parts are sometimes hard to find and DW parts area bit oversized.  The RF parts did not include any assembly instructions with them.   Does anybody have any best practices on assembling them?  From the pictures I saw, they look great....to bad that they are now gone.....hopefully someone else will pickup the RF detail parts products as they seemed to be very accurate.  Thanks for your help.

I have assembled a couple of them and they are bullet proof. I even did a test and then flicked it with my fingers and also threw it onto the floor to see if I could break it. Remained solid in place. I only did this with the larger one.

First I locate the centerline on the cab where it needs to be. I draw it in with a pencil. There are three parts to the antenna. The base, the plane and the top plate. After the pencil line is in place, I locate where I want the antenna to set. I mark the front and back with pencil. I then use a sharp blade and scribe a line front to back of where the base will set. I do this to create a trench for the CA to set in. I then rough up the bottom of the base plate with sand paper. I set the base where it needs to be located on the centerline I drew with a pencil over the scribed trench. I glue the base plate down. When this is in place, I drill holes using the holes in the base plate for the plane. I glue in the plane. Then I rough up the area on the underside of the top plate. I glue it to the plane and all is done.

I use a combination of thin CA and medium CA. I mix them to make something a little thicker than thin CA. The CA will not hold as good if you do not rough up the surface and give it "tooth".
