I heard you can tint LEDs to get rid the bluish glow, I've tried marking pens but this doesn't seem to work. I've also heard you can dye them. Anyone done this and what kind of dye did you use? Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks, Jeff

Tamiya and Testors make orange/amber tailight paints. I have painted a couple of blue/white LED's to try to resemble streetlights and it doesn't work too bad. Light coats can be done with testing to determine the level of change required.

I used to insert a small piece of blank 35mm film negative between the early blue / white LEDs and the lens, so an orangish / brown color is what you need to kill the blue.

Hi,
Try baking parchment paper, the brownish stuff.

Tamiya also sells clear paints. I've used their clear red and green for aircraft position lights.
