Hello everyone, I'm new here. My name is Sandy R. McDonald and I live in the little back woods town of Fort Scott, KS (middle of no where) on the old Frisco main line now BNSF. I am mainly a 1920's modeler of the old Frisco (hence Steam) But have a very fond weakness for the old BN and the SP. I belong to the Pittsburg Model Railroad Club and like to run my Southern Pacific Tunnel Motors and SD-45's on the club layout, I don't like people touching my steam engines, as I only have 4 SP units at this time I would like to further enhance what I have with details thats why I'm here to learn all I can. I like all of my equipment to look as real as possible, details, details and weathering.

The weather is...wet! It can stop raining anytime now. Unfortunately there are no hobby shops around so I buy mostly off the internet or drive to Joplin which is about an hour away. You will find very helpful folks around here so enjoy!
