What part do ya'll use for these? The ones I have been using are the plastic ones from DA (I think). I have been having a problem with them breaking and didn't know if there was something better.

DA does make brass ones also, I believe the number is #102213. Ive also heard of some people using lift rings, if your not wanting to be to critical on looks!

I've been buying the ones that come with Atlas locos. With this diabetes and only one good eye it keeps me from having to mess with those plastic mounts from DA, I break them too easy.

I used the atlas ones on my SD45's. I may just keep using them, they are a whole lot cheaper too.

The way to keep them from breaking is to install them and then take a sharp X-acto knife and cut them lightly. Thanks to Brian Banna for this method!
