Hi guys, my first project to show here is Milwaukee Road SD45, numbered 4007. An important thing to know is that i am not that super premium detail prototype modeler. I detail a model so that it looks right to me, so its possible that there is a wrong antenne, airhorn not a t the right place, etc. The model has a Railpower Shell on an Overland drive. I got the combo at ebay for around 100 bucks. Most of the detail parts were in my parts box, i had to buy Canon&Co thinwall fans, laser cut windows and a handrail kit from Smokey Valley. The latter was very hard to find, fortunately i found an online store in the states where i was able to get the last set they had. I started with widening the holes on the top for the thinwall fans, due to a little "mistake" i damaged the roof in the dynamic brake area which made it necessary to built a new part. After all detail were added i painted the model with Polly Scale colors, added Microscale decals and a very little weathering. The model is unlighted right now, but due to its function as second engine in a consist, this doesn´t matter. Here are some pictures from the beginning to the end: Those Overland trucks are awsome, arent´they?
