Hello, Still new, but i tried searching for SD10's, & found one thread, but no pix. Well, I'm kinda pix intensive, I am s l o w l y working on a DM&E SD10, an ex MILW machine. I hope to Decal this out as Larry's Pressler's ride, I believe it is #550 So Far it is in the state of the Blue Picture, I need to accessorize & Paint the pilots & then begin decaling & weathering. It is a modified P2K model & I really tried hard on the Cat Eared numberboards, & in pix they look OK, she is a 3 footer, or more ... I scratchbuilt the intake filter box? & am kinda proud of it.. You'all let me know your honest thoughts, please! Thank You!!!

Looks really good to me, i would say a lot better than a 3 footer. You did a nice job on the numberboards.
One suggestion, you need to remove the forward fuel tank, unless the DM&E added it back in when they aquired them. The only chop nose Milwaukee SD7 to have both fuel tanks was the triple nickle (555) but when it was converted to an SD10 the Milwaukee Shops removed the forward tank.
Otherwise it looks like your off to a great start. Cant wait to see more.

It actually looks like they removed the small tank and installed a single larger tank. I only see one set of fillers and sight gauges in those pics. Should be easy to replicate on the model, some putty to fill the gap and sanding should do it.
