Hey guys. Now that I can post (because I have a decent computer), the posts of recent builds continue. Here we have an NW C36-7 that started as an Atlas C30-7. Fortunately, their (NWs) early 36-7s did not have the large dynamic box behind the cab. There were only a few modifications made as the C30-7 body is almost identical to the early 36-7s. I removed the nose head light housing and changed the stock Atlas stack. Other than that, it received standard DW detail parts. Attachments:

Ladderpipe;
I am saying this jokingly, but I must ask: How do you get your trains to stay tight up against the wall? Mine keep falling off every time I try imitating it! LOL
Thanks for posting the progress. Looking good!

Hahahahaha. I'm not sure why the pictures are posting sideways because they appear fine on my end. I guess I need to figure that out. LOL.....

Are you taking the pics from a phone (iphone), as it automatically corrects it on the device, but when you download them, you'll see all the orients that are not normal.... ask me how I know...

That's exactly what I used to take the pictures. So here is my question. The iPhone pictures are to "large" to download to the site directly from my phone (and don't have a camera so that's my only option at the moment). What I do is email them to myself where it allows me to reduce the size. As I have said, when I post, they all appear "upright" and not stuck to the wall. Hahahahaha. How do I fix that so you guys don't need to stretch out before looking at the pictures?

Hello ladderpipe; Most of us don't upload the pics directly to this site. We use photobucket www.photobucket.com and open a free account with them, then upload the pics there. One can re-size, rotate and whatever. Then just copy the img file to this forum. The instructions are quite simple and fairly clear at photobucket's site. Have a great day, and hope this helps some, GT Dan

If all else fails, do a free download at www.paint.net and you can manipulate your photos with their software. You can resize, rotate, and do tons of other stuff.

Here is your locomotive with the colors enhanced, image rotated, aspect ratio corrected, and hosted by a photo host.
