If anyone has seen Brian Banna's videos as of late (the triple clasp truck) he recommonded a very fine tooth saw. He also mentioned who to get this from. Well I called them yesterday and they didn't have any and actually the guy I talked to really didn't even know what I was talking about (not saying anything bad about this shop as I have never done business with them before and maybe this guy was new). So I went on a Internet searh to find this awesome tool, well I came across this web site for modelers and they have them. Now it might be made from a different company but it is the same thing. I wanted to share this site for all of us modelers as they have some really cool and useful tools we could all use and the prices seem pretty fair to me, so without anymore procastinating here is the link to this site and the saw directly.... umm-usa.com/onlinestore/product_info.php?cPath=21_28&products_id=35P.S. Brian I hope it is ok with you that I shared this, not trying to jump on the subject from you..

Thats good to know Robert. I just placed an order with them last night on that saw, some surgical blades and new nippers. I cant wait to get this stuff. You can NEVER have to many tools especially the right tools.

Anthony,
No problem. Tool looks the same as is packaged the same. Only difference I see is the pritning on the blade. Glad you were able to find it and there looks to be some other cool tools on there.

When Brian first talked about that saw started looking for it and this is one of several site that i found info about it, but the only one with it in stock. Ive been using mine and love it. It has a real thin blade with fine teeth so it cuts very smooth. After seeing this thread they have it on sale, DAMN my luck. It hard to find good sites with great modeling tools. I'm not that thrilled with Micro Mark, some of there tool are cheap. Ive also used Model Expo as a source. I try to invest into good tools, you get what you pay for. When I lived in San Diego I was hired to help setup a hobby department at a craft store. Being new a lot of modelers came by to see what we had and made suggestions. Its amazing what you can learn from other modelers, car, aircraft, armor, etc, they all have there secret styles but don't like to share with each other. What i tried to do was listen to suggestions and bring in the stuff I thought would he helpful. People found out about what we had and we got more business because of it. Its one of the things that I miss now that I left CA for TX. Does anybody else have some top secret site for modeling tools and techniques?
