I am planning to build an early Santa Fe GP60, like these: www.railpictures.net/images/d1/2/8/6/3286.1297146161.jpgwww.flickr.com/photos/emd111/8127943472/This will be a scratch build project as I'd like to use my spare Atlas GP40 frame/drive/trucks for it. It looks like the Rail Power Products GP60 shell is a good match for the ATSF body. And I'll plan to use a leftover Atlas GP40-2 cab and window/glass assembly. However, I'd need the older style dynamic brake assembly and I am stumped on what part to use for this since it looks like the RPP GP60 shell comes with the later-phase box style. This dynamic brake looks a little different from the GP50 dynamics - a little beefier - but it's not the boxy style that was used on later GP60s. I see a part for an Athearn GP60 dynamic brake - could this be the correct style, or is that just the same as the GP50? If you have any ideas or suggestions, please let me know. Thanks for your help!

I discussed this with somebody in another thread a fee months ago. I'm using my phone so I can't find it but if you sesrchbyou should be able to find it. The long and short of it is to use a GP50 DB hatch with additional parts on the roof and a 60 series exhaust hatch.

Thanks! So it looks like I could bash a GP50 dynamic with the RPP GP60 dynamic to get something close. This should be a fun motor to model.
