Okay DDs,
Did any road other than Southern have high hood U33Cs? I understand those units never made it into NS paint.
So, since I like the high hoods, and I model the late 1990s, I think I am going to do one of those prototypes never done... So, what is the story? I think it is too early for leaving it in the tuxedo with LTEX reporting marks... What about some other scheme? Would it look out of place to make it an NS unit?

:)Hi, there where at least two ex-Sou U33Cs painted in other colors. Squaw Creek Coal (SCCC) 3809 and GECX 404. The Squaw Creek unit was painted green and yellow with a red stripe. GECX 404 was painted gray and white with the nose painted red. Hope this helps. Pics of GECX 404 are on RRpicturearchives, and the Squaw Creek unit is on Fallen Flag.

IMHO opinion it's your loco for your layout and who is to say that your Norfolk Southern did not have any hi hood U -33C's?
