CSX Lightning bolts

Here are two CSX engines I have slowly been working on. I started them about 3 years ago, but two kids and the job keep me from doing much work on anything. Still, I thought I'd post some photos. They started out as an athearn undecorated AC4400 and a Broadway Limited undecorated AC6000. Paint and decals are mostly done, just need to spray the final gloss coat. I also need to finish bending the handrails for the ends and still have a whole box of underframe details to install. Sorry for the bad lighting in the photos and the generally bad photography, it certainly isn't my hobby! I'll post better photos when I ever get time to finish them.














The 49 is an Athearn painted AC4400 that I detailed and used as a test for applying some of the front details and hand rails too.

:)Very nice work. They are great models. Do you plan on weathering them? I really like the AC6000CW. I wish CSX had applied that scheme to more locomotives. Keep up the good work.
