The fake Diorama

Friends, let me tell you the story of the Fake Diorama :-)

Long long time ago, I've asked a Friend to build me a piece of Board with handlaid Track (one Track abadoned).

He did a great Job but I've wanted a bit more szenery so he send it to my Friend John Cubbin (www.ztrains.com) in New York:













John also did a great detailing Job and I love the roots on the Piece ( John did also all of my Z-Scale Dioramas)

In the meantime I've got some cool Trees from a Friend:









He did also a great Job on the Trees but to bad I've ordered not enough :-)

I also found out the small szene strip was to small for the Trees, I had also an idea in mind to have something like a background Diorama that I can use for all other Dioramas to hide my Neighbours House, so I've asked Stefan (who made the Swamp Dio) to make me a Background Piece:













Stefans work is always excellent and now I was ready to use all that stuff.

It was never planned that all pieces comes together one day but the Result is cool! Stay tuned for more.

I really need to do something like this. It would be a lot of fun as well as teach me how to get going on scenery.

Wow! That is for sure one of the best scenery set-ups I've seen. Great pictures as well. Now, If I could ony get my whole layout to look like that!

It's a selfmade applicator bought from a Friend.
