Hello, I am a Conrail modeler, mostly O scale 2 rail. My buddy told me about this forum and after a week or so of "lurking", I decided to say hello! I have a newborn so I model when I can. I have a few projects underway...an Atlas O GP15-1 (CR) and I also plan on starting a GP10 when I can get enough parts for it. Hopefully soon I can start phase 1 of a switching layout in O scale and finally have a layout after being in the hobby, both O and HO for over 20 years. I love the level of detail i have seen on some of the models and I also enjoy the type of people on this forum.
Hopefully I can contribute soon and if anyone out there is into Scale O in 2 rail, I'd love to hear from ya and see how you go about it.
Thanks! Patrick W, Grand Rapids Michigan

The GP10 will be a paducah shorthood but not part of a slug set. If I was modeling CR Elkhart Yd. in the early 90's...that would be sweet but I would have to have a football field to model it..Lol

Welcome, Patrick. Having a newborn also helps when you need to justify buying more locomotives ("Gosh Darlin', I gotta have a couple for the kid to play with......")!

hey Stan, I didnt think they allowed your kind here My O scale CR GP15-1 is still waiting MANY parts from our favorite dealer so maybe when I finally get some more stuff to put it back in the shop, I'll start taking some pics. I do have enough parts to start the GP10, but there are a few boxcars projects in line first. Keep in touch with yourself......

Don't laugh, I bought my son (who just turned 2 back in September) a Tower55 Gevo before his 1st birthday! He now has a Thomas engine with a DCC Decoder and other cars to pull.
