I have proceeded in obtaining material for the project. Since I found that the U23B is the same length as the U25B, I have decided on using the Atlas U23B as the basis of the model.
I have ordered some spare parts from Atlas, walkways, handrails and pilot detail parts. I have also purchase an Atlas U23B on Ebay. I have my inventory of required parts and have the following question:
Where does everyone buy their parts and all at one place for the different manufacturers? What hobby shop or store has the best price? At the present I plan on using parts from Cannon and Company, Detail Associates, Details West and Plano.
Any suggestions are greatly appreciated.

Scott
I have had to put my projects on hold. I broke my ankle a week ago and can not sit very long at one time to work on anything.
I have gotten my Atlas U23B and my various Atlas parts that I ordered.
As soon as I get to a point that I can work I want to start detailing from the walkway down.
I also got my drawings back from a fellow who borrowed them. They are copies of the same drawings that are on the espee web site, only better. These drawings are from MK the original manufacturer of the TEBU.
As I get to the point of being able to work on the unit I will post progress pictures.
Thanks Tom Beutler Sandusky, Ohio

I have been on the mend. My ankle is responding nicely.
I am getting started on the TEBU project. I have the means to fabricate the upper hood and detail from the walkway down.
I have re-evaluated the parts list and will be ordering parts as I go along. In the meantime, I can get the majority of the project done. I have also decided to build two units. It is also planned to make a trip to Mt Vernon , Ill to see the units in person if they are still there.
I will be posting progress photos within the next couple of weeks.

You wouldn't happen to have the exact measurements for the hood of the SP TEBU's? I have restarted construction on the three units I was building (now that a correct GP40-2 model is available) and this was something I was needing before I set them aside. I need the height, width, and length. Also what is the angle of the ends. I had a rough pre-production shell started, but I was not happy with the look. I want this to look REALLY good.
