I has been awhile since posting anything. I have not had a lot time to model. I picked a Rapido baggage car from ebay for cheap. I quickly found that the it was very poorly assembled and the original doors were awful.
Amtrak bought some of these baggage car from Via. They changed out the diaphragms for the rubber tubular type and changed the doors on most of the cars.
It still need lenses in the marker lamps and the dimples need deepened.
I couldn't find any close up pictures of the latch so it is a bit of a guess.
