Hi gang, I have a P2K PA1 in SP's "Bloody Nose" scheme but I would like to know what need to detail the loco, especially the plow/pilot.
Any help would be great,

Hi Richard, I have looked on that sight but doesnt really give me any clues on extra detailing. I know the plows were very different to EMD's and were made by SP's own shops. Not sure about the icicle breakers etc.

Hi Lou,
Thanks for the information but I need more on the finer details in HO scale, though the bit about the grills was interesting. I need to find out more on the SP home made snowplows and icicle breakers.

i know model railroader did an article on the PA, Model Railroader Sep. 1993 - Modeling SP PA's - detailing the Athearn kit. if memory serves me correctly, the article described how to scratch build the pilot/snowplow.
