I just came across this while on YouTube. I had no idea PC had it so rough! That's not even the half of it. You ever heard of a railroad losing entire trains because nobody bothered to train the dispatchers where "Harrisburg" was? You ever heard of a railroad that had computers that couldn't even talk to each other? You ever heard of a railroad with one set of managers trying to mesh a modern transportation network to a clapped-out old spiderweb of branchlines while the other half tries to cannibalize the railroad so it can spend money on building luxury condos in Florida? If so, then you know all you need to know about Penn Central. |
