Just a few days after Amtrak unveiled there Phase 3 and 1 Heritage units, i custom painted models of them, see dieseldetailer.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=fin&action=display&thread=7600 and dieseldetailer.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=fin&action=display&thread=7916.
I had the same plan for #66, the Phase 2 heritage unit and was happy to see that Microscale announced a matching decal set, which would help me alot instead of customize standard decal sets. However, i did not know that Microscale would nee around a half year to finally deliver the ordered set, so it arrived last week and so i then could finish the model. In the meantime a RTR model is available at the Amtrak store, however, my wish was to finish the model nevertheless. So now its done:
BTW, since i made all these 3 models just for fun and have sold the other two, this one is also for sale, if someone is interested!
