This is a model of a Phase II Baldwin DS4-4-1000 as owned by Seaboard Air Line, then it's successor, Seaboard Coast Line (SAL-ACL Merger). The prototype was seen in the Tampa Bay area in the twilight of its career. Modified radiator by installing grille from Stewart DS4-4-1000 body shell Added lift rings, horn, and radiator numberboard scratched from .008 styrene strip A Loksound v4.0 sound decoder and speaker were added to the unit Visible on the cab is the pneumatic windshield wiper motor-scratchbuilt from sprue material Visible are the rerail frog and the push pole hooks

That's a real neat modeling job, Carl.
I've been thinking of building slug #3000 for use in our club yard. Then I would HAVE to finish the SW8 I started several months ago and got pushed to the back of the workbench ;D

Thank you guys for the nice comments. I used to follow the prototype on my bicycle in Ybor City, FL with my friend Tony Santana. They were cool to watch.
