Righty ho, since some of you asked to see more, here's a few more that I've done over the past few years... 1:48 Liberator In the cockpit, most of the detail was scratchbuilt 1:72 PR XIX Spitfire 1:48 Bf109 G10 1:48 S-3B Viking An oddity - 1:48 Vought XF5-U 'Flying Pancake' 1:72 Grumman Wildcat 1:48 F-4G Wild Weasel Phantom 1:72 RAAF Catalina One of my favourites - the sexy French Dassault Rafale, in fictitious (freelanced in MRR speak!) RNZAF markings K, I think I'll leave it there for now. Gotta get my Sd40-2 finished now.... Mike

The Viking is gorgeous! What happened to the Catalina picture? I have a soft spot for them as it was the very first model I made. The WW is my favourite, just love Phantoms. Why no swastikas on the Gustav? All WW2 models I made as a youngster had them; is it illegal in some countries? Mind you, as a youngster, I used to play British and Germans as well as the ubiquitous Cowboys and Indians. Not very PC!!

Thanks guys, Malcolm, the Bf109 is in Croatian (I think) markings, so no swastika. But you're right, in some countries the swastika is banned, so kits sold in those countries don't include them. I've updated the post with a pic of my RAAF Catalina. And just to balance it all out, here's a pic of my RNZAF Catalina CNmodeller, sorry, no CF-101s I did start a RF-101B a few years back, but the project kinda stalled and it ended up being passed onto a friend. I've no idea what's become of it. Cheers Mike

I'm waiting for someone to retool that brutal Monogram 1/48 voodoo! Revell retooled the 1/72 version with proper panel lines, but the 1/48 has gross raised panel lines. I have the blackbox resin cockpit and Eduard etch kit, but I refuse to put them on the model...damn shame!

I'm working with the kit that includes the CAF 416th "lynx" decals, except I got some belcher bits CAF decals to replace those. I really don't like the way they molded the elevator tabs and the air intakes, lots of putty and sanding.
