Sat there looking and realized, I rarely say wow out loud when I am looking at stuff alone.

Sean S. Really great job you done on your CP Rail RS18u. Always love these CP chopnose units. 1 quick question. I see you got perfect looking corner grabs on the short hood. Did you form these yourself or is there a commercial part of these? I usually form my own corner grabs for Alco's/MLW's from .010" (or thereabouts), but always have trouble fitting them around the corner of the nose. Thanks. Pete. Australia

Hey Pete, no problem. I wind some 010 brass wire around a pencil IIRC to make a coil, then I snip half a revolution and bend and straighten 1/4 of each end into the centre 90 deg. It takes some getting used to but I find its easier than forking out $$ to cal scale. You could use steel wire, but brass is a bit more adjustable.
