Has anyone used these items from MLE Scale Models? www.mlescalemodels.com If so how is the quality and would you use this again? I am thinking of getting 4 of these to do 3 Wisconsin Central SD-45’s and a GP40. The assembly looks fairly straight forward, but this will be my first attempt at metal origami. Any tips or tricks on assembly would be of great help. Thank you for the great work I have seen and the inspiration to improve my models.

I have used them several times and love them. the only down fall is you have to make "glass" for them.

I just put my first one together and used clear acetate for the windows. They look great, and just took a little patience. UPDATE: Here's one on a finished locomotive. I'm satisfied with the results, but it'd also look better on Athearn's GP38-2, but this is what the client wanted.

Yep, a little glue and bending with blunt tweezers. There are "fold lines" on the backside and a bending template as well. I added tiny drops of CA in the corners, then used Micro Crystal Clear to attach the glass.
