Hello, I recently finished this B30-7 from a prepainted Atlas unit. The biggest changes were moving the headlight, renumbering it, making cab mods (rain gutters, sunshade brackets, etc.), and adding unit-specific details. I now see that I also need to try to straighten out the frustrating Atlas handrails. Their bend is painfully apparent in these photos. Soon there should be more photos and a short build description posted here: www.contrailroads.com/5556/The 5556 was originally C&O 8274, built 1/80, Phase II, Serial # 42779. I'm also doing a Phase I unit still in Chessie paint, probably the 5531, and she won't look near as pleasant. In fact, she's kind of gross. See here: www.trainweb.org/csxphotos/photos/B30-7/5531cs.jpg I'm not a big AAR-truck fan, but that engine just looks right. And by right I mean disgusting. Can't wait to start on it. Happy modeling, Brian Bennett Northwood, NH

I've always had my fingers crossed that Atlas would offer a Phase III B30-7 or B36-7
