Going through my collection of engines I found an undecorated Athearn Blue Box C44-9W I had bought plus the Details West CSX detail kit I got for it. I was going to paint it into Clinchfield black & yellow. I completely forgot I had it. Add to that I went through my parts box and found a treasure trove of parts I got when my old train shop had a big sell off of parts & decals. I gots everything from grab irons & lift rings to Cannon cab, sub base and high hood kits. Gots 4 sets of HO Scale Clinchfield diesel, 3 sets of N&W diesel, 2 sets of Chessie & C&O diesel decals, 3 sets of Western Maryland and a set of B&O diesel decals. What a haul for about 1/3 of the price I would have paid without the big sale. Now... to just get the time to use the stuff.

Doing a CRR heritage unit... consider the traditional Gray and yellow... sure would look great...

I like that idea. That would look really sharp.

That would look good on a 70MAC or ACE
