Hi all,
Another one of my passions is VIA rail Canada. I've just finished my P42DC and have started an FPA-4. Problem is I have been searching and searching for an FPA-4 fuel tank and grills by 'Jay's train parts' with no luck. Would any of you know where I can get my hands on these. Any leads would be greatly appreciated
Evan

Hi Stephen,
I've emailed him a couple times during the last year, and again last night, but he says he hasn't heard from Jay in about a year. So the search continues... thanks for the link.

Hi Jeff & Miguel,
Thanks for the lead. Jeff, next time you are in the store, could you ask, or look and see if he has them. If he does, could you get me his email address and I would contact him directly. Thanks very much,

Hi Stephen,
I did find his (current?) email address after a brief internet search and sent him off a note. Am still awaiting a response. Thanks

These FARR filters (as used on MLW's) are also available as a decal from Down East Decals.

VIA FPA-4 #67?? on the move. Well I finally got a hold of the Jay's Train parts details I needed (thanks, Miguel.) Yes, I could have scratchbuilt these (I have in the past) but I wanted to see the quality of the parts (they are excellent) and it was fun trying to hunt them down. So yet another distraction to my SD60F project, but I had this unit first. Plan to add the ditch lights (love those ditch lights!)

Just got some news from Jason Shron at Rapido Trains - they're doing an FPA4 as an RTR model in the True North Locomotives line.

my FPA-4 is on early stage to, and have only the fuel tank in my parts box. so I have open a rectangle below the existing grill and install a D.A. etched grill. That's what is look like now.
